Creative Mission Forum

The Creative Mission Forum is open to everyone and takes place two or three times a year, on different mission related topics.  The Forum offers a unique space for collective learning around creative mission, fresh expressions of Church (increasingly known as ‘new Christian communities’) and the re-imagination of ministry. An important feature of the Creative Mission Forum is the sharing of missional stories and the question, ‘What are we learning here?’

Reconnecting with Families, Children and Young People
Monday 29 November 2021, 9.30am-1.00pm, Seasalter Christian Centre
The first Creative Mission Forum since ‘you know what’ began will enable us to reconnect first with each other.  The theme itself is a sensitive but critically important one, Reconnecting with families, children, and young people.

  • Where are we with families, etc.  – what has it been like and how is it now?
  • What stories (good and bad) do we have to tell?
  • Should we try to Restart what we had – or is it a matter of Re-imagining our relationships with families, children and YP?

Ben Hatfield, Diocesan Children and Young People’s Ministry Adviser, will be with Bruce Watson and Steve Coney's as we explore these questions.  We can even chew them over at lunch, which is on us!

To book a place visit  and share this invitation with those in the parish / benefice who may be interested.
