The Benefice of Calehill with Westwell, which consists of seven churches centred on Charing, just west of Ashford, is looking for a part-time administrator to help the rector by taking on tasks which will free her up to be more missional. This is an exciting time for the benefice as it seeks to make a greater impact on the communities which its churches serve.
The post-holder will have proven administration and excellent communication skills, will be a team player, and will work closely with the rector in developing the role.
The post will be based in Charing Vicarage in the first instance, pending detailed planning and completion of a purpose-designed space in Charing church.
