Team Rector of the Romney Marsh Benefice

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead this new benefice and develop its mission and ministry for the future. Exploring new ways of doing things while honouring what has gone before will be a key priority for you – and one requiring diplomacy and skill. Not all things need to be new, but many might be reimagined, and there are already good relationships to build on, from community groups to our local schools.

The Benefice of The Romney Marsh is set in a unique part of south east England in the most southerly part of the Canterbury Diocese. It is a place of physical contrasts, with beautiful, sometimes wild landscapes, offering countryside, seaside, and areas of urban
development. We are working across the communities of this wonderful place to make God's love real and enlivening for all who live here. We need a person to lead our team who is comfortable with a range of expressions of our faith who can lead us develop our ministry, engaging more with the Diocese's Changed Lives→Changing Lives programme.
