The Bishop of Dover, Rt Revd Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin opened up to BBC HARDtalk about the issues that affect her in our Diocese of Canterbury, the Church of England and the global Anglican Communion.

The interview with Stephen Sackur was filmed against the backdrop of Canterbury Cathedral and covered in-depth discussions on current issues from small boats landing on the coast at Dover to how safeguarding is prioritised in the church today. The programme also covers the political and moral debate about immigration, racism and the role of women in the church.

The format of HARDtalk allows the interviewee to go beyond news soundbites to answer hard-hitting questions about sensitive topics as well talk about highs and lows in their lives.

The programme features on BBC News Channel and on BBC World service and is also available on iplayer and as a podcast.
