The Diocese of Canterbury is pleased to announce that it has secured access to a national grant-finding database for our churches for the next three years.
The database, Church Grants, will help parishes search for grants from national and local grant-making bodies to fund a variety of projects, from buildings to youth work, all in one place.
Its site features an online search engine specifically tailored to churches and Christian organisations, with a searchable database containing hundreds of UK trusts and foundations.
The funding sources listed on the site gave away over £475 million last year.
As well as the grant database, churches can find information about writing funding applications, and join a free fortnightly fundraising Q&A webinar.
Victoria Alford from the Diocesan Generous Giving team said: “The 3-year subscription with Church Grants presents an exciting chance for parishes to gain access to a vast database of local and national grant funders for their church projects.”
This announcement follows the rollout of subsidised user-friendly contactless donation devices to help churches in our diocese with their fundraising efforts.
