Priest-in-Charge, St. Martin’s Church, Maidstone.
I have had the privilege of serving at St. Martin’s Church and in Maidstone Deanery since 2011 first as Curate, and later as Priest-in-Charge. In 2015 I attended a conference at Regent College, Vancouver on creation care. That was transformative and the people of St. Martin’s and I have been on the environmental journey ever since. I lead the Maidstone Deanery Environment Group and we meet regularly to share good practice. As Diocesan Environment Officer, I work across the Diocese with our Eco Champions. They are passionate about caring for creation and helping churches to gain Eco Church status. I am part of the national group of Diocesan Environment Officers.
Climate change and the Anthropocene are my areas of interest, and enabling others to engage with and respond to these challenges is a significant part of my work.
