LGBT+

We are currently working on creating a chaplaincy which would seek to give information and pastoral care to LGBT+ people, their friends, family, and ministers.

In the meantime, if you need any information or pastoral care please contact the LGBT+ Advisor to the Bishop of Dover, Samuel Keeler-Walker on skeeler-walker@diocant.org

Or contact one of the following organisations below:

Diverse Church and Diverse Church Parents

Diverse Church is a Christian community for LGBT+ people aged 18-30

Diverse Church Parents offers mutual support and pastoral care for Christian Parents of LGBT+ children, and is particularly for those in conservative churches.  It is a private safe space. Contact them by emailing Parents@DiverseChurch.co.uk

Two:23

A network of Christians, connected by LGBT+ issues who have discovered that God loves us just as we are. This realisation frees us to unashamedly include and encourage all to discover the love of God for themselves, pursue the call of Christ and live in a way that cherishes others just as God cherishes us.

The Gathering Space for those over 30, is a supportive and friendly Facebook-based community for LGBT+ Christians living in the UK and Ireland. To find out more or to join, please email gatheringspacelgbtq@gmail.com.
