Six deacons and four priests were ordained on Saturday. They were commissioned as ministers of the Church in a special service at Canterbury Cathedral by Archbishop Justin Welby and Bishop Rose. A team of musicians from St Luke's, Maidstone, led the worship.
Our new deacons are:

- Joy Dunton (Canterbury, St Mary Bredin)
- Seb Lundberg (Bewsborough)
- Lynn Overington-Hickford (Deal, St Leonard with St Richard and Sholden with Great Mongeham, St Martin)
- Sharon Paine (Elham Valley Group)
- Lawrence Tuck (The United Benefice of Reculver)
Our new priests, who were ordained deacon last year, are:
- Jane Barker (Borden and Milton Regis)
- Claude Gayle (Whitstable)
- Charlotte Sleigh (Canterbury, St Martin and St Paul)
- Andrew Tapsell (Tenterden, Rother and Oxney)
