On Sunday 26 January, the Collation and Installation of The Revd Canon Jo Richards and The Revd Canon Dr Jeremy Worthen as Honorary Canons took place at Canterbury Cathedral.

The College of Canons is made up of lay and ordained people from across our diocese who serve in a variety of roles and are recognised for the distinct contribution they make.

Bishop of Dover, the Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin welcomed the new Honorary Canons during the service of Evensong.

The Revd Canon Jo Richards is Rector at St Dunstan, St Mildred and St Peter Canterbury benefice, whilst The Revd Canon Dr Jeremy Worthen is Team Rector at the Ashford Town benefice.

Speaking of the occasion, The Revd Canon Dr Jeremy Worthen said: “It was a beautiful service at Canterbury Cathedral on Sunday evening, and a great honour to be made an Honorary Canon.

"I’m just thankful too for the calling to serve in Ashford Town Parish, and for all the support received from so many people there.”
