Ashford Cattle Market on Sunday 6 October at 5.30pm

This year’s County Harvest Thanksgiving Service will be held in the main ring at Ashford Cattle Market.

The annual event moves to different venues across the diocese to celebrate the work of our farmers and producers.

It will be held on Sunday 6 October at 5.30pm and the service will be led by Rural Business Chaplain the Revd Chris Hodgkins.

He said: “We are gathering together at the very heart of the farming community and what better way to join and give thanks for this year’s harvest!

“It is an opportunity to look back and reflect on the hard work of the last year and, with God’s love, to look ahead to the challenges the next year will bring.”

The guest speaker is the Revd Claire Maxim, Chief Executive of Germinate, which is an organisation that helps rural communities and churches to work better together.

The County Harvest Thanksgiving Service is open to everyone. To confirm your attendance, please email Karen Adams on kadams@diocant.org.
