Bishop Trevor offers his thanks for everyone’s participation in the Day of Prayer. View pictures
Dear colleagues,
I write simply to thank you for your enthusiastic participation in our Diocesan Day of Prayer. I personally found such inspiration in our time together in Faversham as well as the worship I shared in at Ospringe Primary School on Friday. Already, I have been hearing about what's being going on in other parts of the Diocese in response to our call to prayer. I look forward to hearing your stories too - please don't forget to share them with the team so that others may also be inspired. You can view some of the photos from the events online here.
In a real sense, I feel that the incredible wave of prayer we experienced this weekend is only the beginning. We are partners in God's mission in Kent and the Channel Islands - there is much to do! But it begins in prayer - and we must continue to return time and again in prayer to God, the source of all life and goodness.
Once again, thank you! May God inspire us afresh as we seek the blessing and transformation of ourselves and our communities.
With blessings,
Trevor Willmott,
Bishop of Dover & Bishop in Canterbury
Thanks for Day of Prayer
