Are you passionate about seeing the church reach out into the community blessing the lives of young people, seeing them become Jesus’ disciples? Then we’d love you to apply to be our Youth Pastor, and join our Kingdom adventure.

St. Luke’s Maidstone is an evangelical (orthodox) charismatic Anglican church with strong links to New Wine and the Diocese of Canterbury. St. Luke’s is designated a ‘Resourcing Church’ in the Church of England, so is very committed to church planting, church revitalisation and the evangelisation of the nations. We are a church who seek to be deeply rooted in the Word of God and attentive to the Spirit of God. Our vision is to be a church family who passionately ‘LIVE for Jesus and LOVE one another, LEADing to transformed lives and communities.’

Description of the job

We’re looking for someone with experience, a passion for youth ministry and a heart to reach young people beyond the church community with the good news of Jesus. You will be a dynamic leader for our youth ministry. Someone who loves Jesus and loves seeing young people come to faith and grow in their faith. You will have experience in developing a vision, building teams, training others and delivering an exciting and fun youth ministry that young people want to be a part of.

This is paid staff role and builds on the great work of our current Youth Pastor who is following God’s call into school chaplaincy and an amazing volunteer youth team at St. Luke’s who have served over many years. The role will require elements of building on existing ministries and pioneering new ones both inside and outside the church in our community.
