Bishop Rose has been leading a series of events in every deanery in our diocese. These deanery roadshows have been an opportunity for us to gather to discuss our 2030 strategy, including our three bold outcomes .
Thank you to everyone who has attended. These events have been times of great encouragement. Parishes have had the opportunity to discuss new ideas and share where they are seeing signs of growth.
We’d love to have your feedback on how you’ve found the roadshows and if there are any areas we can improve on for next year.
Please take time to complete the feedback survey, this should only take a couple of minutes. If anyone needs a paper version please call 01227 459401.
Attendees had the chance to choose a workshop relevant to them where they could discuss ideas such as reimagining ministry, welcoming children and young people, and engaging with financial planning. The links to the handouts are below:
- Three Bold Outcomes - questions for PCCs
- Overview of 2022 financial year
- Towards Carbon Net Zero
- Use of church buildings & new Christian communities
- Reimagining ministry (to follow)
- Engaging with financial planning (to follow)
- Including and welcoming children and young people
The roadshows are open to everyone so do feel free to come along to the final few. They are especially helpful for clergy and parish officers but everyone who wants to find out more about the life of the church in their area is welcome to attend.
